Here's how to play Learning To Fly by guitar legend Tom Petty.
This song has just 4 chords in the same progression throughout the entire song. Those chords are F, C, Am and G - which are the most common chords in the key of C AND are the most common chords that occur in songs with a F chord in the progression.
However - Tom Petty did NOT play the F as a barre chord! He played it the way I show in the video. It is much easier - and you can learn it too!
